The NHA-605/604 automotive exhaust gas analyzer operates on the principle of non-dispersive infrared absorption to measure the composition of hydrocarbons
(HC), carbon monoxide
(CO), and carbon dioxide CO2 in motor
vehicle exhaust gases;
it
employs an electrochemical cell principle to measure the composition of nitrogen oxides (NO)O2 and oxygen in the exhaust gas (the NHA-604 model does not include NO measurement; the same applies hereafter); and it can calculate the excess air coefficient λ based on the measured
values of CO,CO2, HC, and O2. This instrument utilizes a gas analysis optical platform with independent intellectual property rights, is equipped with a microprocessor, and features an intelligent design with an LCD display and a Chinese-language interface.
Additionally, the instrument can be optionally equipped with optional
accessories such as a induction-type speed measurement clamp, a temperature sensor probe, and a miniature printer, enabling
users to monitor engine speed and lubricating oil temperature while analyzing exhaust gases, as well as print the current
test results.
